I’m a huge fan of the late Patrick Swayze and a bit of a follower of his action hero philosophy, which depending on who you talk to is called Swayze-ology, Swayze-ism, or (as my friend Nate and I prefer) Swayzlam. Anyway I wrote a post based on this youtube video featuring all the punches to the face in the classic Swayze flick Road House and used the video as jumping off point to explore Swayzelam. I love smartphone apps. They’re incredibly fun to use and write about – especially when you’re looking up apps to help those lovable guys who forgot that TODAY IS VALENTINE’S DAY. You can read the post here…hopefully you don’t need it. You know what I’m saying?

Wait…I didn’t mean to imply I was hoping you were alone on Valentine’s Day! What I meant was that I hoped you had enough foresight to be aware ahead of time that Valentine’s Day was on the horizon that you wouldn’t need to use my article.

Maybe you haven’t heard, but Liam Neeson is a Hollywood badass now. It’s actually kind of a major career turnaround for him and I (along with a lot of other people) are loving it. His latest movie, The Gray, which just came out, is about fighting a pack of wolves in the wilds of Alaska. To mark such cinematic awesomeness, I wrote this post about how Neeson became a Hollywood’s current most bankable badass.
